Take a therapeutic walk in nature and allow the beauty and grace to assist in your therapeutic process.
We will meet at a local park and take a walk at your pace while we do the therapeutic work you need.
*Confidentiality: It is of upmost importance to me to maintain confidentiality and safety in processing through challenges and emotions. Since there is an additional risk when participating in outdoor therapy, we will discuss how to creatively mitigate these potential challenges.
*Self Care: Proper clothing, appropriate shoes, sunscreen and a hat. It is important to check for ticks after your walk as they are prevalent in PA.
*Inclement Weather: I will be monitoring the weather re: outdoor sessions. There are times when the weather isn’t perfect but still provides a wonderful outdoor experience. Light rain is an example of a cleansing walk. However, I know that while some people love to walk in the rain, others do not. These sessions will always be designed around your needs and comfortability. Because of these significant differences in comfortability when working outside, there will always be an option to have an online/remote session if the weather does not support your process. I will need 24 hours notice to prepare for the change. Please make sure to reach out to avoid a cancel session fee.
